Donald Lee Freeman, 73, of West Columbia, SC passed away on September 27, 2025. He was born in Columbia, SC on July 29,1952. Mr. Freeman was the son of parents’ Ceral M. Freeman and Louise Rose Britt.
He retired from the USAF and the Air National Guard as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a member of the West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. He loved working outdoors and gardening. He had a kind spirit which radiated to anyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hyatt Freeman; son, Gregory Freeman (Angela); daughter, Shannon Freeman; three grandchildren, Dylan Freeman, Addyson Freeman and Elizabeth Freeman; brother, Floyd Freeman (Barbara) and sister, Ellen Brock.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Phillip A. Freeman.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, 350 Wattling Road, West Columbia. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
