WEST COLUMBIA – A funeral service for Edward Rizzuto will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019, with a visitation prior from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will hold a private interment, following the service, at Southland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Rizzuto was born March 22, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, and passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was a son of the late Margaret and Edward Rizzuto. Mr. Rizzuto was employed by, and retired from, Delta Airlines. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic for four years. He was a die-hard Carolina Gamecock fan and a proud Grand-PAW to seven dogs: Zoee and Lyla, Maxine and Maggie, Bailey and Margo, and Baxter. Mr. Rizzuto is survived by his former wife of 42 years, Pete Rizzuto; daughters, Sherry Page (Chris) and Kim Hook (Chris); grandsons, Andrew Price (Elizabeth) and Noah Price (Taylor); step-grandson, Taylor Page; great-granddaughter, Amelia Price; sister-in-law, Marie Coulter; nieces and nephews: Ricky Rizzuto, Ronnie Rizzuto, Robin Rizzuto, Nicole Gravelle, Sherri Romano, Ericka Krueger, Jillian Albert; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Rizzuto; brothers-in-law Charlie Bepler and Skip Warner. He was predeceased by a brother, Rick Rizzuto and sisters, Linda Bepler and Kathy Warner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal rescue of one’s choice.
