WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Elma W. Berrier, 81, of West Columbia, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior.
Ms. Berrier was born March 31, 1932 in Columbia and passed away March 27, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Bobbie Welch and Susie Lovell Welch. She was a member of St. Andrews Road Church of Christ and retired after 45 years as an Automotive Accountant.
Surviving are husband, William J. Berrier; children, Jackie Winston (Ed), Hoyt Berrier (Velma), Bobby Berrier (Robin), Jeanie Hammond (Herman); daughter-in-law Lisa Berrier; grandchildren, Christopher Winston (Bridget), Wesley Hammond, Nicholas Hammond, Jack, Susanne, and Christa Berrier; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Jackson Winston and sister, Katy Hurt (Dan). Predeceased by her son, John Berrier; grandson, Jason Wingo; brothers, Jack Welch, Jimmy Welch and Vernon Welch; sisters, Helen Goodwin, Millie Menikheim and Shirley Brock.
