WEST COLUMBIA- Floyd David Cook, 90, of West Columbia passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was born in Bowman, SC on January 26, 1928 to the late John David Cook and Ida Salley Patrick Cook. He was a Corporal in the United States Army. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World and held many positions in the church. He worked for SCDOT.
Surviving is his wife, Evelyn Ann Cook; daughters, Sally Bigleman and Connie Mosteller (David) both of Lexington; son, Michael D. Cook (Christie) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Aaron Bigleman, Robert Scott Bigleman, Jessica, Joshua and Justin Mosteller, Henry David, Robert Michael and Natalie M. Cook; great-grandchildren, Haley Bigleman; Joshua C. Mosteller and sisters, Lettie Rae Davis of North, Patricia Jeffcoat of Batesburg and Johnnie Rea Stearman of Florida also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
