WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for F. Darell Davis, 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with Interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Rish and the Rev. Tom Graves. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Darell was born January 22, 1941 in Blytheville, AR and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2013. He was a son of the late Fred Dewitt Davis and Anita Slayton Davis. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Home Builders Association. He held Five U.S. Patents. He was an Artist and Writer. He was a member of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
Darell, Beloved Husband of Pamela Rish Davis; is survived by son, Jimmy Darell Davis of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Kimberly Davis Sessoms of Cayce; son, Richard Scott Davis of West Columbia; daughter, Jennifer Louise Davis of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Thomas and Cody Thomas and 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Tommy Dean Davis (Sharon) of Wilmington, NC.
Pallbearers: Sammy Walker, Will Atkinson, Bob Lamons, Joshua Thomas, Cody Thomas, and Keith Jumper.
