I served with Gary on the USS ULYSSES S. GRANT both at the Bremerton Shipyard and patrolling out of Holy Loch, Scotland.  Gray was the Leading Yeoman on the Blue Crew and I was the Leading Yeoman on the Gold Crew. I always remember his kindness and gentle way of dealing with people.  He was highly professional, liked and respected.  My sincere condolences to the family.  He is now on Eternal Patrol with many of his Submarine Shipmates.  Rest in Peace Shipmate, we have the watch.

We are saddened to hear of Gary's passing.  We feel fortunate to have met with him a few years ago while on our way to Florida to play in a band.  It was a great reunion.  What great memories I had with Gary in our childhood, performing as the "Hillbilly Harmonaires" I am glad you included a picture in the wonderful gallery. He is now playing in "Heaven's Band". I am saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Have not seen him in a while but we spent many fun-filled hours picking bluegrass back in the 80's. He was a great guy!! Love and sympathy to the family.
