LEXINGTON – A graveside service for Gloria Wilma Freeman, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service.
Mrs. Freeman was born March 2, 1927 in Dover, OH and passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She was a daughter of the late Samuel E. Cook, Sr. and Addie Mae Dyer Cook. Mrs. Freeman worked as a seamstress.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her children, Roy Dale Palmer, Joyce Ann Martin, Terry Eugene Palmer and James Ira Palmer; four siblings, June Dill, Eugene Cook, Joanne Eadon and Phyllis Mathis; eight grandchildren, Angee Gause(Dale), Kim Lybrand (Dargan), Pam Padgett (Tim), Tina Ballentine, Joe Palmer, Katie Gordon (Jay), Craig Palmer, Colton Palmer and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Arnold and Dorothy Wilburn; brother, Leo Cook and granddaughter, Margaret Palmer.
