Jerry Haze Ellison, 76, was born December 14, 1945 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. He was the son of the late Samuel and Edna Ellison. Mr. Ellison was a minister, loved to fish, and spend time with his dog, Boo.
He was a loving minister, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Ellison; granddaughter, Alexis Blodgett; grandson, Patrick Blodgett, Jr.; sister, Suzette Singleton (Terry) nieces, Cindy Chasteen (Troy) and Vicki Shealy (Carl); several great nieces and nephews and beloved dog, Boo.
He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ellison; son, Jerry Ellison, Jr. and great nephew, Corey Goff.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Pleasant Pines Baptist Church, Hwy 321, Gaston, SC with visitation with the family at 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.The inurnment will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens in a private family service at a later date.
