Kinley Iris-Marie Barton

Kinley Iris-Marie Barton was born on June 29, 2022, and went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2025. Surrounded by the love of her family, Kinley left this world wrapped in the same warmth and tenderness she brought into it. She will forever be cherished.

Kinley was always full of love, laughter, and a beautiful touch of sassiness. She was a bright, joyful light—one that illuminated every life she touched. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and adored her. She was lovingly known by many nicknames: Sissy, Beanie, Kimb, and Baby Squirrel—each one a reflection of the affection she inspired.

We will carry her with us always, keeping her memory alive in our hearts every single day.

Kinley is survived by her devoted parents, Ivelise (Evy) and Stephen; her loving brother, Brady; her grandparents, Nestor and Ivette Portalatin, and Bobby and Regina Barton; and bonus grandparent, Tim Holmes. She is also survived by her aunts, Natasha and Diana, her uncles, Jacob and Christopher, and many cousins that loved her deeply.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kinley’s exceptional care team at Hands of Hope, Milk and Milestones, PT the OT, and all of her wonderful providers at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands. Their compassion and dedication meant the world to Kinley and to all who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, 820 W Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, for a viewing at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to SOFT Organization in Kinley’s honor.
