Tonight I had Mike on my mind. I use to chat w him on F/B but hadn’t in a long time. I just happened to google him when I pulled up his obit. This comes to me with a broken heart. We actually dated for about a year before I went in the service. Mikes personality was a one of a kind. He would drive all the way to VA to visit. Our favorite jam was “Cotton Eyed Joe”. He always wore mismatched socks one black and one white.. so many memories that I will forever cherish. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Always in my ❤️ heart.... 

Mike delivered water to our Caterpillar Precision Pin Plant in Sumter, SC.  He was always so friendly and such a hard worker.  We were shocked to hear of his passing.  Please know that we have all of his family and friends in our prayers.

Dear Chavis Family,
Mike delivered water to us here at Hanson Brick and he would sit in my office and print out all the invoices.  We would have a few minutes to talk while he was doing that.  He was such a nice young man - very courteous, never complained and goodness it was a hard job - especially in the summer. We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing and send our deepest sympathy.

James and Brenda We are truly sorry to learn of Michael's passing. I just read the obits and saw his name. Please accept our sincere sympthany and know that we are interceding on your behalf. We will never know the Mind Of God But We Can Trust Him Because He  Does All Things Right. The Lost  of a child is very hard and you may not understand but that's  when we say  Father God  I still trust YOU and I Know  that You  Never Mistakes, But I Need Comfort and Rest and Assurance that You Will Take Us Through One Day At A Time.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't know your loving son, however, when I read of his passing at such a young age, it brought forth memories of my younger brother's passing. I just wanted to let you know that my heart goes out to you and yours and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Michael hasn't left you, he will live on in your hearts forever.
