

Born on July 15, 1954, Toni began her career in banking when she was young. As an adult, she returned to school and earned her high school diploma from Lexington High School. She then pursued a 22-year career as a Mental Retardation Specialist with the Babcock Center, while also dedicating 18 years as a pizza maker prep specialist with Pizza Hut. After retiring, Toni spent her time with friends and family, focusing on her beloved grandchildren.
In 1974, Toni married Richard Taylor Crosby, Sr. After 30 years together, they divorced. She is survived by her children, Richard Taylor Crosby, Jr. "Little Ricky", Tracy Marie Lovato (Luigi), Tiffany Nicole Crosby Zimbelman (Bradley), and Rachel Meggs Sharp (Aaron). Toni was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Danyell Outlaw, Cameran Lovato, Conner Sharp, Marie Stroupe, Kaitlyn Lovato, Taylor Mitchell, Addison Jones, and Oliver Lovato. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Corba (Debbie). She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Corba and Iris Corba, and her brother, Kenneth Corba (Karol).
Toni was known for her ability to make lifelong friends and for getting along with everyone she met. She was always there to offer advice or simply listen, helping anyone she could within her means. Toni had a great love for the beach, especially Edisto Island, where she spent many summer vacations with her family. She loved searching the beach from sun up to sun down for shark teeth and being neck-deep in the ocean searching for sand dollars.
Visitation will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, on January 26, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on January 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
