

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm, April 6, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
A.B. was born December 8, 1922 in Ocee, Texas to Arlie Bryant and Dessie Delena (McCracken) Ewing. He served in the United States Marines at the end of WWII. He worked for Southwestern Bell for over 40 years retiring in 1986. A.B. was a lifetime member of Shiloh Baptist church. He was a loving man and cared deeply for his family putting everyone else’s needs before himself. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of over 39 years, Ada Agnes Ewing; daughter, Ellen Elaine Ewing and son, Arlie B. Ewing III. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, A.M. “Butter” Ewing, Glen Ewing, Lorna Sockwell, Wilda Ewing, Catherine Ewing, and Elva Ewing.
Those left to cherish his memory are is daughter, Ann Scott and husband Brackston; grandchildren, Kendra Campos and husband Wil and Christopher Scott and fiancée Brittany Spain; niece, Joanna Bajer; nephews, Weldon Jackson and wife Gene, Joe Jackson and wife Ina, Jim Ewing and wife Harriet, and Bill Ewing.
