Alexander Joseph (Pops) Brault, Jr., 83, of Elm Mott, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2014 in Oakwood Cemetery with military honors provided by Fort Hood Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, on Thursday, January 23rd at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Mr. Brault was born on March 16, 1930 in Holyoke, MA to Alexander and Bertha (Hervieux) Brault. He served his country during the Viet Nam era in the United States Army. Mr. Brault retired from Gulf State Paper in 1998. Survivors include his daughters; Diane Barnes and her husband, Sonny and Octavia Brault and her husband, Kris, sons; David Brault and his wife, Kathy and Joseph Brault, step son; Mark Grimes, step daughter; Melissa Grimes, brothers; Norman Brault, Charlie Brault and David Brault, sisters; Janet DeWitt and Gloria Burns, grandchildren; Samantha, Cody and Wyatt Braswell, Sigrun and Alexandra Kjartandottir and Laurie Ann and Jonathon Brault, 6 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
