She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond Walter Hutyra of 55 years, her parents Roger and Anna Elkins, and sister Edith Elkins Hutyra. Survivors include daughter Lynne Young and husband Ray of Waxahachie, TX, Grandsons Aaron Young and wife Kristina of Waco, TX, Brian Young of Waxahachie, TX, and Mike Young of Waco, TX. Great Grandsons Logan, Tyler, Zachary and Myles Young of Waco, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews with one special niece, Rose Ann Kline and husband Bill of West, TX.
Bettye was retired from Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Waco, TX and was a member of United Methodist Church of Hewitt, TX before she moved to the nursing home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
