Bridger Wayne Hogan, 17, of Eddy, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Lee Casey officiating. Burial will follow at Eddy Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at the funeral home.

Bridger Wayne was born May 20, 1993 in Waco, Texas to Darrell Wayne Hogan and Melanie Dale Griffin. Bridger enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Bridger was preceded in death by his Mammaw and Pappaw Griffin; Mammaw and Pappaw Clemons; Granddad “Buck” Bridger; and Grandma and Grandpa Hogan.

Those left behind to cherish Bridger’s memory are his mother, Melanie Edwards and husband, Chip; father, Darrell Hogan and wife, Lori; sister, Kassidy Hogan; step brother, Mason Edwards; step sisters, Ryann Edwards, Ashlan Brock, Kailee Brock; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Dale Griffin; paternal grandparents, Frankie and Donna Hogan; paternal great grandmother, Marie Scott and husband, C.W.; uncles, David Griffin, Darren Griffin and wife, Shawn; aunt, Cherie Walker and husband, Eric; cousins, Ashley Cureton and husband, Jon, Austin Griffin, Zoe Griffin, Matt Walker, Kennedy Miller, Jace Walker, Marley Cureton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ayers, Mitch Childs, R. J. Cortaise, Jonathan Cureton, Mason Edwards, Austin Griffin, Kevin Harper, Dalton Robins, Chris Sawyer, and Michael Strickland.
