Mrs. Frances Padilla, age 91, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco with Father Benjie officiating.
Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
Frances was born October 10, 1925 to Pedro and Vincenta (Rodriguez) Padilla in Buda, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Frances worked in the food service at the Waco Veterans Hospital and retired in 1995. She also worked for Smith Furniture and Youngbloods.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Carrizales; daughter, Hope Ramirez; grandson, Anthony Ramirez; brothers, Joe, Johnny, Pete and Marcelo Padilla; sisters, Antonio Espinosa, Valentina Castaneda, and Meme Contreras.
Survivors includes, daughter, Mary Lou Rodriguez of Killeen, Texas; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Delores Santos, Lena Torres, and Hope Espinosa all of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.
