Johnne was born February 25, 1941 to John and Layne Parker in Waco, Texas. Growing up she loved to “harass” her sister Betty her best friend. In 1956 she married the love of her life Jerry Mack Dickerson. They continued that union for 42 years. She was an active member of New Road Church of Christ, who always thought of others before herself. She dedicated her time to the church pantry and the meals on wheels. Johnne loved to read her Kindle Fire. She loved to crochet, gardening, camping, fishing and her family most of all. She was a devoted mother, friend, wife, and cheerleader to family and her grandchildren’s sporting events. Even in her passing she thought of others by donating her corneas to help two individuals who will be so lucky to see through her blue eyes.
Johnne is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry Mack Dickerson; sister-in-law, Debbie Henry, brother-in-law, Bob Dickerson.
