

A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00a.m., Wednesday, February 7, at Viento Fuerte Church with Pastor Tom Gutierrez as officiant. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00p.m., with a memorial service at 7:00p.m., Tuesday, February 6, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
Hernan was born June 9, 1931 in Quintana Roo, Mexico to Victoriano and Ramona (Rosas) Sabido. His proudest accomplishments in his life were his 12 children. In Mexico, he had a log trucking business that helped him provide jobs for his brothers, nephews and others. Hernan worked for the City of Waco as a truck driver for 17 years until his retirement.
Hernan loved the Lord, he not only was the first in his family to accept Christ as Savior but was an integral part in bringing the Sabido family to Christ. Jesus was his passion and he had a large desire to spread his word. He helped establish 26 churches over his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sister.
Survivors include his children, Alfonso Sabido and wife Elda, Hernan C. Sabido, Jr. and wife Angelica, Victor Manuel Sabido and wife Anamaria, Maria Esther Sabido, Elizabeth Gutierrez and husband Tom, Loyda Sabido, Gabriela Castano, Paula McComas, Sandra Lorena Guerrero, Becky Gutierrez and husband Robert, Juan Sabido and wife Isabella, and Pablo Sabido. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; six brothers and sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Giovanni Sabido, Alonso Flores, Anthony Flores, Christian Gutierrez, Johnny Tellado, Jon Sabido, Hector Neftali Sabido, Victor Sabido and Joshua Ramos.
