Michael R. Tutterow

Michael R. Tutterow, age 54, 0f Mount Calm, died on Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Austin, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wed. July 6, 2011 at 7 PM at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Father John Guzaldo officiating and burial to follow in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas at 12:45 PM on Thurs. July 7, 2011. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Michael was born on December 11, 1956 to Bobby and Peggy Gentle Tutterow in Salisbury, North Carolina. He served in the Air Force 1980-1986. Michael worked for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth as a Field and Service Mechanic, A & P and was also a member of I A M 776 Union and L3 in Waco. He met the love of his life during boot camp and married Kitty Holmes on March 2, 1983

Michael leaves behind his soul mate and love of his life, wife, Kitty Tutterow of Mount Calm; daughters, Nichole Schlais and husband, Joe, of Jacksonville, FL, Heather Griffin and husband, Shane, of Pilot Point and Jennifer Summerville and partner, Kerrie of Austin; son, Neal Spurgeon and wife, Olga, of Jacksonville, NC; granddaughters, Lakyn Griffin of Pilot Point and Landry Schlais of Jacksonville, FL; grandsons, Colton, Bryson, and Rilyn Griffin all of Pilot Point and Noah Schlais of Jacksonville, FL; parents, Bobby and Peggy Tutterow of Mocksville, NC; sisters, Lisa Tutterow and Deidra Lankford and husband, Terry, all of Mocksville, NC; niece, Kristian Burt and husband, Ben, of Mocksville, NC and nephew, Kendall Lankford and wife, Shannon, of Mocksville, NC.
