Prayers for all of you as you celebrate the many wonderful things that made Mr. Burnett so special!  The positive, often life changing, impact he had on the students of Lorena was amazing . . . his legacy is HUGE! Heaven has a new angel!

Coach B was an incredible Coach, Superintendent and Mentor.  I have many fond memories of Coach, his laugh, his genuine belief in humanity; and his talent for challenging his students and players to perform their best.

Mr. B was one of the most kind, sincere, genuine men I have ever known. He was always the teacher, mentor and friend during my time in school and after. I remember going and getting his keys to the gym so we could play basketball or volley ball on Sunday afternoons. He'd say "Smitham, lock up and turn the lights off" as he threw me the keys to the school! I miss those days. I can just imagine the smiles now for he and Mrs Truma's reunion! Peace to the family

Coach B was an amazing person and a great influence on so many of us passing through the halls of Lorena ISD. I am saddened by his death but over joyed to know he lived a long life undoubtedly making a difference in the lives of all who met him.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Burnet's passing.  He is home now.  He was such a huge part of Lorena High School and touched so many lives with his positive outlook and grace.  Prayers for the family.....  Rest in Peace Mr. B.........

Ralph was a very good friend of our parents Victor and Faye Hardin at Lake Shore Estates. We were very fond of him also. No matter how bad he felt, he was always sweet and happy to see us. Ralph's birthday was one day after daddys.but he was the same age as mother.  We always celebrated together at Lake Shore.

Mr. Burnett was the best teacher I had. He was a kind man that gave me words of encouragement when I was needing it.  He was my friend. I remember he took me home after I missed the school bus and in the back seat was a skunk in a cage. I was really worried it was going to let loose but he assured me it would not. I will always have good memories of my friend. Thanks Mr. Burnett

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Burnett's passing. I had some fun times with him at Lorena, especially during track season... RIP Coach!

Ralph was a great school person and I have been bless. To have known  and  work beside him.  The field of education  was  a importment  part of his life.  He will be missed. Take rest Mr.B.
