She is survived by her loving husband, Wendell K. Parker; son, Judeah K.W. Parker; mother, Geraldine Diane (Gerald) Lum (La Pierre, Pu’u); brother, Jeffery A. Pu’u from Kalaheo, Kauai; sister Deborah-Jean “Hiwa” Wood (Pu’u); 10 nieces and 9 nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Dacky A. Pu’u.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and serviced as a teacher in Sunday School, Primary and Young Women President Auxiliaries. She was called to serve as a seminary teacher in the LDS Institution of Religion in the Kona Hawaii Stake, Keei Ward. She served at her husband’s side as a single adult branch president and Bishop’s wife to be a “help meet” in his callings in the LDS-Kona Hawaii Stake. She studied herbology for healing the body and mind and a love for her animals. She also worked for the LDS church’s physical facility management as a Hawai’i-Maui PM group office administrator and retired at 22 years of service.
