

He leaves his wife of 25 years, Rhonda Pico; brother, Kelvin (Cheryl) Pico; brother, Brian Pico; sister, Darlene (Guy) Panek; nieces, Heather Smoot, Rachel Aspelund, Kelsey Pico, and Jazmin Gallardo; and nephews, Kelton Pico and Ian Repollo. In addition, he leaves two lifelong close friends, Mark Dionne and Joseph Mendonca.
He was born and raised on Maui, the son of Mildred and Edwin Pico, Sr. and was a lifelong resident of Maui with the exception of living in Alaska for ten years where he met his wife.
Ed held various jobs during his working career. Some included working on a crab boat, kelp diver, body and fender repairman, heavy equipment operator, welder, and mechanic.
His most adventurous years where while he was living in Alaska. He enjoyed moose and deer hunting, traveling to remote locations, fishing from his Zodiac for halibut, spending time on his property in Homer, and spending time with the many friends he made while living there. He loved all the opportunities of adventure in Alaska and described some of his experiences there as magical.
Ed has been described as a jack of all trades and a master of most. He built his Maui home and he built his fishing boat that he enjoyed catching Mahi and Ono from on the North Shore of Maui. In his early years, he enjoyed diving and spearfishing. He had a love for learning and enjoyed history. He was an animal lover and always had a loyal dog by his side.
Ed wished to to be cremated with no service.
