Lily Eiko Ruhland aka Lily Tobita, 70, of Wailuku, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Lily was born on July 21, 1940 in Lahaina. She was a retired pre ??"school teacher at the Doris Todd Memorial Christian School. She is survived by her husband, John A. Ruhland; a daughter, Patricia (Alakai) Artates; three brothers, Edwin (Sandra) Tobita, Kenneth (Teresita) Tobita, and David Tobita; a sister, Alice (John) Tobita-Edwards. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Suekichi and Haruko Tobita and her sister, Violet Tobita.
Visitation: Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary Visitation will continue 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, December 03, 2010 at the funeral home.Services: Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Borthwick Norman's Mortuary with a service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 03, 2010 at the funeral home.Interment: Burial will follow 10:30 a.m. at the Maui Memorial Park- Garden of Meditation.
