Charleen A Sandefur

On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, Charleen A. Sandefur better known to her friends as "Charley" departed this life into the loving arms of her father. Beloved wife of John W. Sandefur, Jr., devoted mother of Tabatha Carle (Rick) and Chad Sandefur (Brandi); grandmother of Kerstin Carle, Galadriel Sandefur and Xavier Sandefur, loving daughter of the late Charles McCormick of Norfolk, Virginia, and Theda and Frank Cutri of Wilson, NC.; sister of Connie Hanson of Great Bridge, VA. Also survived by several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and loving caring friends. She worked 32 years for C&P Telephone, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon with her dearest and best friend, Flo Hicks. She was a loving caring wife, mother and friend that enjoyed life, travel and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm. at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, MD where funeral service will be held 11 am., Saturday, June 29, 2013. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Charles County. We love you Charley.
