Eli Salahuddin Jr. was born on March 20th, 1987 on Andrews Air Force Base. The early part of his life he and his family lived in Germany for some time and returned to the U.S. when he was 3 years old, where they lived in upstate NY for a few years. The family resided in PG County, MD for the remainder of his life and He graduated from Oxon Hill High School in 2005. Early on in life, Eli found his love for music, and more specifically Go-Go. Eli loved Go-Go so much he played in many bands, attended many shows, and even dreamed of starting his own band someday. Eli was adamant about getting a space where he and his friends can bring their instruments and just “vibe”. Eli found solace in music. He found peace in music. When times were hard, he could be found at his computer making beats. He was proud of his music and listened to it regularly. This passion for music cultivated into what we know today as 4140 Entertainment, LLC. Eli began his entrepreneurship journey as a DJ in 2009 where he grew a following from Djing in nightclubs to venturing out as a mobile DJ. He poured himself into his craft throughout the years and in 2019 he was proud to transform 4140 ENT. to 4140 Entertainment, LLC where he was more than a DJ, he provided an entire entertainment experience; with the help of his life partner and protégé, Jene’e.
If you knew Eli, you knew he was a hard worker. Not only was he an entrepreneur, but he also had a host of other jobs, where most of his years he served as an SPO. During those years he gained excellent skills and built memorable relationships. He had just begun to venture into the IT field which he always wanted to do. Eli also found joy in browsing funny videos on YouTube, creating graphic designs, and he was an avid gun collector. Eli took pride in his appearance and made sure to leave a lasting impression with those he met.
Eli stood for family, solidarity, and community. He was very stern in his words and meant what he said. Eli was always ready with a message for anyone who crossed his path.
