On Saturday, March 1, 2014 of Waldorf, MD. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bessie Mae (Penny) and his son John. He is survived by his sons James and wife Kathleen, Jeffrey, and Joseph; brother Kenneth and wife Donna; sister Ginny and husband Tim; grandchildren Justin and wife Ann Marie, Michael and wife Shauna, Joseph, Brian, Jennifer and husband Ben, Shannon, and Sara; and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was born12/24/26 in Fayetteville, NC; a WWII Navy veteran; a Master Barber; a lifetime member of the Elk's and a member of the American Legion for 19 years.
Visitation will be at Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, MD, on Sunday 3/9/14 from 2 PM-4 PM and from 6PM -8 PM. The Funeral Service will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Monday 3/10/14 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
