John Dean died September 7, 2010 at Civista Hospital, LaPlata, Maryland at the age of 66. Born March 29, 1944 in Mississippi. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sandy Dean. daughter Kelly Dean, son Michael (Misty) Dean and adoptive daughter, Angela Charette, 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren, sister Quilla Faye Everett and brother Mark Dean. Predeceased by his parents Simmons and Grace Dean. Mr. Dean was a veteran of the US Air Force having served during Vietnam. He was a member of The American Legion Post # 238, He and his wife bred and raised Appaloosas Horses. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601 at 1:00 PM.
