"Gail was a wonderful women, like a angel.  When I needed child care Gail offered to take care of my daughter and when I didn't have the money to pay her because I was a struggling single mother she would not charge me.  I will always remember her for her love and kindness.  My prayers are truly with her family.

Gail was an important part of our extended family and we will miss her dearly. Our daugthers loved her, and she treated them like they were her own. We will miss you Gail. RIP.

  I would like to express my deepest, heartfelt sympathy to you and your family in this most difficult time. I pray that God provide the comfort and strength to you and your family to persevere through this sadness.

It has been years since I last saw Gail, but I remember her well. I had the intention of visiting her again, but had not done so yet. Now, I wish I had not put it off until my car was in better shape for me to make this non-church and nonwork-related trip. I wish I had simply gone to see Gail. It's funny how you expect people to go on living, even when we all know that life is so uncertain. 

My feelings are with her husband and children. The disease that took her life brought a lot of trouble to Gail and her family, and even though this is not the ending anyone wanted, I am glad that her suffering has stopped.

May God bless her entire family and all of her friends!

Tyler, My heart aches for you and your family and I wish you strength in knowing how much your mother loved you. You made her so very proud and I hope you take comfort in this for many years to come.

Gary - so sad to hear about this.  As a church, we often prayed for Gail - you guys have been so much a part of us.  We know this life is just the beginning (and it can be such a hard beginning) and full of separation, but we look forward to the real deal later, which will more than make up for the hardships here.  Together with you, we look forward to seeing Gail again in total perfection.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel.  I too (as Steve mentioned) remember Gail and Gary before they were married.  She always had a big beautiful smile on her face in our Sabbath School class. I may not understand the profound sadness you feel, but may it help you to know Gary, how much I care. The loss of the presence and companionship of a loved one is an experience that is beyond expression...words always fail to convey these deepest feelings. However, the joy in knowing that the pain and suffering has ended gives great relief. To Gary, the children and rest of the Cook family, we we pray that the Lord will provide strength, comfort and hope in this time of your loss.

Dear Gary, Tina and Tyler, I am so sorry to hear about Gail. I know the pain your family is facing. The good news we all have is that God is with you. She is resting peacefully, without pain or suffering. And the greatest promises God has given us is that when he comes again we will be reunited without the pain and suffering of this world. Although we are not with your family often, you have been in our prayers and thoughts. I pray God will comfort each of you and will fill the void that will be left with the comforts of his promises. We are always here to support you at anytime.

Gary, you're family is in my prayers.  There's a few of us still at Waldorf who still remember both of you before you and Gail got married.  I also remember when Tyler went to the 2004 Pathfinder Osh Kosh Camporee.  Tyler was fantastic on the skateboard track.  Finally, I also remember Gail had one of the hardest jobs in the church filling the church program spots.  I tried to help when possible.  God bless. Steve Enzweiler
