Richard Mack Boone, 81, Passed away at his home in Accokeek, Maryland surrounded by his family April 1, 2020. Richard was born in Bartley, West Virginia to the late Raymond and Miriam (Mclaughlin) Boone. He is preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Goodwin and brother Morton Boone. He is also preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Mildred Brennan.
Left to mourn his passing are Son Mike Stovall and wife Christina of Acokeek, Maryland; Grandsons Mikey Stovall (Ashleigh) of Waldorf, Maryland, Bobby Stovall of LaPlata, Maryland; Great-Grandson, Jake Stovall. Brother Billy (Gloria)Boone of Virginia, and Cousin Thelma Moore of Virginia, and a host of loving family and friends.
Richard was a retired District of Columbia Fire Fighter for 30 years as well as a Fire Marshall for the Kennedy Center.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
