Bob was a meat-cutter for over 30 years. Always hard at work, Bob had previously been a sheet-metal worker, a helicopter and jet mechanic in the U.S. Navy, a commercial crabber and fisherman, and a rodeo horseback rider. In his retirement, he was proud to be a sportsman, a devoted caregiver, and an independent business-owner. He was, and always will be, a great father.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Ann Mancer. He is survived by his daughter, Cassie Mancer, son-in-law Robert Sutton, and grandson Malcolm. He is also survived by two sisters, Antonia Body and Alina Belle Mack, as well as brother John Michael Hall and brother-in-law Donnie Schoenmann.
Always ready with a laugh and a twinkle in his eye, he enjoyed teaching folks of all ages, being a grandpa, cooking a good meal, and making sure that his family and friends were well cared for.
A graveside service will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 7 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to:
