William Thomas Gosnell died June 13, 2011 at Fort Washington Hospital Center, Fort Washington, Maryland at the age of 79. William was born September 23, 1931 in Accokeek, Maryland. he was the son of the late Welby Clinton Gosnell and the late Margaret Ann Gosnell.William was of the Episcopal faith. He worked for fifty years at Fort Washington Marina. He was the backbone of Fort Washington Marina from April 2, 1959 to April 2, 2009. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Welby Jr. and Robert Lee Gosnell. He is survived by his brother, James Clinton Gosnell: three nieces; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and 21 great-great-nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on June 20, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Christ Church, Accokeek, Maryland where funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The Rev. Brian Banderwell will offciate. Arrangements are being handled by Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland
