

Ann Bush, age 90 a longtime resident of Center Line, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Oak Manor Assisted Living in Troy. Ann was born February 03, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank and Marcianna (nee: Szulecka) Dyszynski. Mrs. Bush graduated high school in Detroit and would eventually work for years at Mopar in Center Line before retiring. After retirement she enjoyed collecting cook books and cutting out recipes from newspapers and magazines. She also liked to read Womens World magazine, Better Homes and Gardens, and all articles dealing with health and medicine issues. Further she cut out many coupons and articles for future reading. Time at home was spent reminiscing the early days at Farm Crest and Sanders Confectionery, or watching the old cowboy Black & White movies. Once she headed out of the house it was off to visit the local shopping malls and enjoy a soy hot chocolate at StarBucks. When spending time with her family, Mrs. Bush enjoyed figuring out puzzles and going to estate sales to bargain hunt. She liked to shop for shoes, blouses, slacks, coats, and all types of jewelry. In her quiet moments with family she and her daughter in-law would read many bible passages. Mrs. Bush was the beloved wife of the late John F. Bush. She is the dearest mother of John F. (Maureen) Bush Jr. Loving grandmother of Jennifer (Jack) Figgins, and great-grandmother of Kaleigha. Dear sister of Jessie Zubrowski, Stella Sacha, and the late Walter, Helen, and Francis. Visitation for Mrs. Bush will be Friday from 3-9 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Funeral Services will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 10:30 am. Please share memories of Ann at her guest book.
