Ann Chattinger

Ann was born on December 2, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents Arthur and Dorothy Wilson.

Ann was a selfless, caring, and empathetic person who was always there for people in need. Shortly after retirement she cared for her father after he suffered a stroke, and always made herself available to care for her grandchildren as well. She found joy spending time with her family, and providing a loving, judgment-free place for them to come to. Ann loved the adventure of traveling, going on vacation with her family, and riding roller coasters. She was a fearless, kind, and generous soul.

She is survived by her children Fran (Dennis) Olshove and Dave (Lori) Chattinger. Grandchildren Steven (Chelsea), Michael (Jenna), Marc, Ryan, Jacob and Kayla. Great grandchildren Berkley, Van and Vivienne.

Preceding her in passing are her son James Chattinger (d. 1982) and her husband Frank Chattinger (d. 1999).

Friends may visit the AH Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 12:00 Noon, also at the funeral home. Ann will be laid to rest with her husband and son at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills.

For those who wish to make a contribution in Ann’s honor, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A visitation for Ann will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 12:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home.
