Carol Anne Swantek

Carol A. Swantek, age 76, of Warren, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home.She was born April 12, 1935 in Detroit the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Norma (nee: Eichbauer) Ziegenfelder. Carol worked for several years as a sales clerk at Federal Department Store in the fine jewelry department and also at Day Drugs in Warren.Beloved wife of the late Richard Sr. Loving mother of Cathy (Roy) Carlsen, Richard Jr., Nancy Caza (David Moskwa), Thomas (Rose Gannon), and Kristi (Donald) Shotton. Proud grandmother of Justin (Rachel), Jessica (Neil), Jeffrey (Meghan), Casey, Ashley, and Thomas Jr. Great grandmother of Christzian, Austin, Francesca, Tyler, Lucas, and Noah. Dear sister of Norm (Carol) Ziegler, Robert (Marjorie) Ziegenfelder, Paula (Gary) Jaeckle, and Ellen (Clare) Janis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Eileen Gallagher and Arthur Ziegenfelder. Visitation for Mrs. Swantek will be held Monday 5-9 pm and Tuesday 2-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). She will lie in state Wednesday 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Teresa of Avila - St. Dorothy Campus. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr.
