Christopher Allan Tye, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on June 26, 2021. Chris was born July 7, 1957 to the late Robert (Bob) and Shirley (nee: Hanson) Tye, the second of Bob and Shirley’s 6 children.
Chris went to Center Line High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. Chris, whose nickname was Bulldog, loved riding his Harley with his Wild Hog brothers, and “knocking back a few” with his friends like Joe Savine who meant so much to him. Chris had a tremendous sense of humor, even when the going was rough in his last days and hours. His gregarious and booming laughter made every place he went light up. He will be missed.
Chris is survived by his siblings Brian (Aileen), Bradley, James, Justin, his sweet baby sister, Lisa (Scott) Madding, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Chris is survived as well by his step-children Christopher, Nancy, Charles and Angie. He was predeceased by his stepson Brandon.
Chris was truly a presence, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest In Peace and God Speed, Bulldog!
