Conrad Ron Goetz, of Warren, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren. Ron was born December 7, 1934 in Detroit to Carl and Martha Goetz. During the Korean War, Ron served in the Navy. In 1960 he moved to Warren and still lives in the same home. He worked as a branch manager at Joint, Clutch and Gear until his retirement in 1997. Ron enjoyed traveling, and always looked forward to the family vacations at Hubbard Lake. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing euchre, pool and the lottery. He was a great card and pool player. Everyone knew him as a big jokester. Rons greatest love was his family. Ron is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra; children Rhonda (Randy) Smith, Debra (Jerome) Buback, Marta Belbot, Linda Esmont, Donna (Joe) Upright and Lisa (David) Dicken; grandchildren Michael, Stacy, Kelly, Lori, Jacob, Kimberly, Paul, Sarah, Rachel, Deanna, Steven, Roger, Nicole, Jessica, Kerry, Katelyn and Matthew; and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Martha; and son-in-law, Larry Belbot. Funeral services will be Friday, March 24, 2006 at St. Dorothy Catholic Church. He will be in state at 9:30 am with mass at 10:00 am. Visitation is Wednesday 5-9 pm and Thursday 2-9 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 mile).
