Daisy Lillie Cini

Daisy L. Cini, age 92 of Warren, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Abbey Nursing Home in Warren, Michigan. She was born September 7, 1916 in Cleveland, Tennessee, the daughter of John & Zelphia Shell. Perhaps the most profound statement that can be made about Daisy is that her faith was vibrant. She loved everything that had to do with church and she shared a loving & devoted relationship with her Lord. Known by all as a "social butterfly," Daisy so enjoyed spending time and fellowshipping with her friends and loved ones and making the wonderful memories that they all will cherish. She loved to have a good time and will forever be remembered for her "laugh." It was always infectious and filled the hearts around her with joy. And every now & then, Daisy would step out to enjoy another slice of life by heading for the ol' fishin' hole and casting out her line in hopes of something big. And one day, a walleye on the line made her a very happy lady. Daisy's life was a full & memorable one. With eight children, their spouses, and a host of grandchildren well over the century mark in number, she touched the hearts of each and every one of them and leaves behind a storehouse of treasured moments to be cherished and coveted. Beloved wife of the late Richard Lewis Webb. Loving mother of Margaret "Johnnie", Jimmie Sue, Bobbie Yvonne, Bill (Sandra) Webb, Myra, Fred (Jenelle) Webb, Richard (Lorenza) Webb, and Jack (Suzann) Webb. Also survived be many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Daisy will be on Monday, July 13 from 3:00pm-9:00pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd.) in Warren. She will lie in state on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights, 33380 Ryan Road in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. Please share memories of Daisy at her guest book.
