

David Fisher passed away peacefully at his home in Rochester, Michigan on Thursday, June 7, 2012 under the loving and dedicated care of his wife Patricia.Born July 24, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late John Fisher and Mary (nee: Uchic) Fisher. He married Patricia (nee: Fody) Fisher June 2, 1962 and raised his family in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. David made Oakland Township, Michigan his home since 2003.David was a dedicated General Motors employee for over 35 years, retiring as a supervisor. Though he loved the automotive industry and his 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport, his true passion in life was carpentry. David was a gifted and talented craftsman, who self-built his home in Dearborn Heights where he raised his family. Later he created and improved his Oakland Township home as a beautiful retreat for his wife Patricia and son Patrick. A kind and giving man, he volunteered and shared his talents with many. David Fisher was the beloved husband, best friend, and Polish Prince to his loving wife Patricia. He was also the loving Father to Patrick, Sandra (Andrew) Balwinski, Kelly (Michael) Stechschulte, and Kristy (Bill)McMahon. He was the devoted Grandfather to Charlotte, Anna, Samantha, Michael, Megan and Greta. Beloved brother of Robert Fisher, and cherished by many nieces and nephews. David will join his parents John and Mary Fisher; sisters Mary Flesher and Joan Holowicki; brothers John Fisher and Daniel Fisher; and brother in-law Edward Holowicki in Heaven. David was loved and cherished by his family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all. Memorial visitation for David will take place on Friday, June 15th from 4pm - 8pm with an evening vigil 7:30pm at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home located at 339 Walnut in Rochester, MI 48307. A Memorial Funeral Mass to celebrate David's life will take place on Saturday, June 16th at 12pm at St. Andrew Catholic Church located at 1400 Inglewood in Rochester, MI 48307. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Mr. Fisher's nephew the Reverend Fr.
