David Richard Meyer

David Richard Meyer age 83, a lifetime resident of Warren, Michigan died Wednesday October 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. David was born March 2, 1934 in Warren Michigan the son of the late David Meyer and the late Agnes Marie (nee: Bartley) Meyer.He was raised in Warren and later faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. Following his military service he returned home and continued to serve the public within the Warren Fire Department. Mr. Meyer rose through the ranks of the department to achieve the rank of Fire Captain before his retirement.David was the beloved husband of the late Ellen Louise Meyer, and was the dear father of Rick (Renee) Meyer, and Kenneth Meyer. He was the loving Grandpa of Megan, Lonn, Kylee, Quinn, and brother of Dorothy (Robert) Scott, and Robert (Joan) Meyer.Visitation for Mr. Meyer will be held Monday 3-9pm with an evening Vigil at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Mr. Meyer will lie in state Tuesday 9:30am at St. Mary Our Lady Queen of Families - St. Clement Campus, 25252 Van Dyke Avenue in Center Line, until the time of the Funeral Mass 10am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Robert Bauer. Interment will follow at St. Clement Cemetery in Center Line, Michigan.Please share memories of Mr. Meyer at his memory book above.
