Devon Ella Byrd

Devon was the beloved wife of John, with whom she shared 33 wonderful years together, including 26 years of marriage since 2000. She was a devoted and loving mother to Tifani (Barrett Reid), Skylar, Lexie (Drew Parker), Drake (Viola Sharp), and Baylee (Nicklas Hammerle), and a proud grandmother to Brooklynn, Charlotte, and Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Candis and Robert, and is survived by her siblings Lynn and Brenda, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory. Devon found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially being outdoors. She loved the beach, with Siesta Beach in Florida holding a special place in her heart. The sight of the ocean brought her happiness, and she treasured time spent swimming and relaxing in the sun.

She loved to travel with her family to destinations such as Las Vegas, Florida, New York, and Chicago.

Above all, Devon was deeply family-oriented. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing with them and creating lasting memories. She took great pride in her home, always keeping it beautiful and organized, with her cherished tulips brightening the yard.

Devon always took care in her appearance, known for her glowing tan, impeccable makeup, and beautifully styled hair. She carried herself with grace and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
