Diane Deon

Diane was predeceased by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Francesco Joseph Deon, and by her beloved parents, Raymond and Elaine Jones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to family and community.

Diane is survived by her cherished sons, Michael (Mary) and Steven (Stacy), and her five fabulous grandchildren—Vincent, Mia, Allison, Emerson, and Lauren—whom she lovingly referred to as the "Fab Five." She was endlessly proud of each of them and found deep joy in watching them grow.

She is also survived by her loving brother, Alan, her precious sister, Shirley, and many adoring nieces and nephews who were touched by her warmth and wisdom. Diane is also remembered by her cherished girlfriend of 65 years, Linda.

A dedicated community member, Diane was the heart and soul of her local TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) weight loss group, which she led with grace and compassion for 21 years. Her leadership was marked by empathy, encouragement, and a sincere desire to uplift everyone around her. Her TOPS family held a special place in her heart, and she took immense pride in making each member feel seen, valued, and loved.

Diane was the spirit and center of her family, living her life with deep purpose, gentle strength, and unwavering love. She practiced inclusion and patience in all that she did and left a lasting impression on everyone privileged to know her. Her wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at the Warren location of A.H. Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8th, 3 to 8pm. Instate at St. Blasé Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd in Sterling Heights on Friday, May 9th, at 9am until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30am.
