Dolores June Danzey, age 93, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Allen and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love and guidance shaped generations.
June is survived by her children: Vikki (Paul) Bowers, Laurie (the late Gary) Kamyszek, Deborah (Pete) Schaubroek, Terry (Jerry) Hebert, Dwight Taylor, and Julie Taylor. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her deeply.
Born with a natural gift for nurturing, June had a true green thumb. Her garden was her sanctuary, and she delighted in tending to her flowers and plants. Her creativity shone through in her crafting—she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and making things by hand. Her cooking, always made with love, became a treasured part of family life, and she proudly passed those skills on to her children.
June worked for 19 years as a medical records technician at Memorial Medical Centers. She was the epitome of hard work and dedication. After long eight-hour workdays, she came home and continued her labor of love—raising six children with patience, strength, and unwavering devotion. She cared not only for her family but also for friends and neighbors, always ensuring that anyone who needed support found comfort in her kindness.
For 16 cherished years, June and Allen escaped the cold Michigan winters for warm getaways to Gulf Shores, Alabama, creating memories that they held close to their hearts.
June will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her selflessness, and the endless love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives she touched.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.
A private burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later time.
