Mr. Ripley is the beloved husband of Sandra La Duke. Loving father of Donna Messina, Steven (Deborah Bills), Gregory (Jennifer Kinzey), Michelle La Duke (Mark Naeyaert), Renea (Stephen) Appelt, and the late Colleen Ripley. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren & 5 grandchildren. Mr. Ripley was born in Detroit and served in The United States Army for 7 years. He was a 16 year resident of Warren formerly from East Detroit and retired from the City of Eastpointe DPW. Mr. Ripley was an avid bowler and golfer and coached softball in East Detroit for many years. He also enjoyed spending as much time with his family as possible. Visitation will be held Sunday 3-9:00pm. Mr. Ripley's service will be held Monday here at the funeral home at 10:30 am.
