Edmund J. Rajewski, age 88 of Warren died Friday, July 3, 2009 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Macomb Center in Warren. Edmund was born January 8, 1921 in Detroit the son of the late John and the late Sophie (nee: Moswa) Rajewski. He was a WWII Veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his children, Audrey (Richard) Smith, Lawrence Rajewski, Susan (Benedict) Elwartowski, and Dolores (David) Johnson; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Joann Thomas. Edmund is predeceased by his wife, Sally Jane. Visitation for Mr. Rajewski will be held Wednesday 5-9 pm and Thursday 2-9 pm with a 6 pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). He will lie in state Friday 10:30 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Joseph Gembala. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
