Elfriede Haus

Elfriede “Elfie” Haus passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on March 13, 1934, to the late Karl Reminder and the late Albina Reminder. Beloved wife of the late Franz Haus for 39 wonderful years until his passing in 2020. Loving mother of Richard (Noreen) Haus, Harry Haus, and Karl (Stacey Krutz) Haus. Devoted Oma of Corey (Melissa) Haus, Madison Haus, Ethan Haus, Parker Haus, and Laura (Johnny) Dexter. Cherished great-grandmother of Miles, Graham, Ariana, Lilly, and Mackenzie. Dear sister of Melora, Ursula, Luzia, Karl, and Christiane. She leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends here and in Germany.

Elfie was a passionate participant in the church choir and attended Mass regularly. Her hobbies included baking, walking, and feeding birds. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at D.S. Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093. The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, with instate at 9:30 AM, followed by Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
