

Frank James Fitzpatrick, age 90 of Warren, died Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. He was born November 16, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to his late parents, James and Elizabeth (nee: Simpson) Fitzpatrick.
Frank lived his 90 years with passion and dedication. He dedicated 38 years to his career at General Motors, and after his retirement at 58, found a passion for golf and travel. He had a passion for travelling the world with his wife to places like Hawaii, and Europe. Or splitting their time between their several properties in Florida, Canada and Michigan. He was an avid golfer and loved to work on his game. He could be found daily on the course behind his Florida home perfecting his swing.
He dedicated 62 years to his family as husband to Theresa, and a father to Frank, Debbie and Lorraine;and as a grandfather and great-grandfather. His passion for his family could be felt in the steadfast holiday traditions or various travel destination which he always wanted the whole family together. His care and devotion to his wife for the last 30 years didn’t stop them from living life to the fullest and making the most of every moment.
We remember him as fierce and loyal friend, a dedicated husband and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed deeply, but take comfort in the knowledge that is reunited with his heart, Theresa, where they will spend their eternal lives together. His memory will live in our hearts always.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Theresa. Loving father of Frank (Marge), Debbie Vanderbeke, and Lorraine Cavataio. Adording grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of the late James and the late Helena Skinner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Frank will be held Monday, August 3rd from 5-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. He will lie in state Tuesday at 9 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road in Sterling Heights.
