Mrs. Gertrude Guzik, age 95, of Shelby Township, died September 17, 2007, at Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township. Mrs. Guzik was born April 7, 1912 in Swiecie, Poland. She was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Cecelia (nee:Najdowski) Skomski. Gertrude is survived by her children, John Guzik, and Leslie Guzik. Visitation for Mrs. Guziak will be Wednesday 3: p.m. 9:00 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile). A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin Thursday with Gertrude laying in state at 11:30 a.m. at St. Edmund Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile, in Warren until the time of her Funeral Mass at Noon. Celebrating the Funeral Mass will be Rev. Father Robert Witkowski. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Please share memories of Mrs. Guziak at her guest book.
