

Irvin John Andrysiak, age 89 of Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at his home. Mr. Andrysiak was born June 22, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Anthony Andrysiak and the late Frances (nee: Stoinski) Andrysiak. He is the loving uncle of Marilyn (Robert) McDonald, Donald (Beverly) Temrowski, James (Gretchen) Temrowski, Allen (Dawn) Andreshak, Karen (John) Russette, Susan (Ken) Schultz, and the late Joyce (Brian) Scherz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews. Mr. Andrysiak was predeceased by his siblings, the late Irene Temrowski, Edna Kohlman, Art Andreshak, and Virginia Meszczenski. Mr. Andrysiak was a 20 year resident of Sterling Heights, prior to moving to Sterling Heights he was raised and lived in Detroit. Mr. Andrysiak was a World War II Veteran. He served mainly in the Philippines and spoke fondly of his pet monkey there. After the war he worked and retired from Massey-Ferguson as a machine operator. He was a long-time bowler, earning several trophies with his team through the years. His other hobbies included being a car buff, watching sporting events, playing Pinochle and cards with family and friends, and occasionally enjoying a few beers. His family remembers him as a very accomplished harmonica player. Irvin was truly a family man, never having his own children; he always doted on his nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Andrysiak will be Sunday from 1-6 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 mile). Funeral services will follow the visitation Sunday at 6 pm.
