

A visitation for Jeesou will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088. A burial will occur Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Clinton Grove Cemetery, 21189 Cass Ave, Clinton Twp 48036.
Jeesou was born to Cher Vang Kue and Bla Yang on November 10, 1958 in Phou Het, Xiangkhoung Laos. He was the oldest of 7 children [Jeesou, Pang Chou, See, Xia, Chue (deceased), Mai and Ntxhais (both deceased)]. He was born during the Laotian Civil War and moved place to place with his family in efforts to flee a war torn country. In 1962-1963, his family relocated to Haavnaajxees. Then, in 1963 Jeesou lived in Phoebe Louang-Pak Kha. Again in 1964, his family moved to Long Tieng and lived there until 1973, during which his family relocated to Roob Tauj-Pha Nqun-Roob Yag. In 1975, during the Secret War (Vietnam War), as the communists began to take over the country, Jeesou, although just a young man, left his family and fled to the refugees camps in Nong Khai, Thailand, Nam Phong, and Vinai. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 with his Aunt See Pao Kue family and lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1978, he studied Job Corps in Montana. In August of that year, he married Pang Her and they settled in Michigan. He became a citizen of the United States in 1994. He worked the majority of his life at John Christian as a warehouse supervisor and retired in April 2021 to enjoy more time with family and hobbies. His favorite hobbies included soccer, volleyball, takraw, and golfing. He made sure to capture life moments through photos.
Jeesou is survived by his wife, Pang Her and their seven children Jeannie (TZ Chang), Lucy (Ncohmoob Yang), Merits (Yee Xiong), Victoria, Judy (Yue Pheng Lee), Richard (Lee Vang), and Michael (Gau Shoua Vue). He had 20 grandchildren (9 grandsons and 11 grand daughters).
Jeesou passed in the presence of his loving wife and children on January 25, 2022 at 10:48 pm. He will be remembered as someone who was always cheerful, easy going, and dependable. He was a man who made friends with everyone, young and old. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. ❤️
