Jeffrey Alan Eddy

Jeff Eddy, age 48 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on July 10, 2022. He was born in Warren, Michigan to Charles and the late Pamela Eddy. He was a very athletic student at Hazel Park High School where he graduated in 1991. Jeff was the quarterback of the football team, point guard of the basketball team, 2nd baseman of the baseball team and also played tennis. His skills at tennis earned him a scholarship to the University of Detroit Mercy where he attended from 1992-1995. Jeff soon started an accomplished career as a mortgage underwriter for Quicken Loans in Farmington Hills where he worked from 1997-2012. Through all this, Jeff has his soulmate, Barb, by his side. The two dated for 8 years and in September 2000, they made it official. Together, they raised two beautiful children with humility, kindness, determination, sacrifice and loyalty. Jeff was a very dedicated father to his children and always had time for them and for Barb. He was their coach in all things sports, baseball, tennis, basketball and football and he attended every dance competition. When he wasn’t coaching or spending time with his family, Jeff could be found on his motorcycle and was a former member of the Knights of the Road Club.

Jeff will forever be remembered as an honest, hardworking, caring and most genuine loving man that always sacrificed himself to make sure his family was taken care of, and he enjoyed every second of it. He always had a funny joke or could make you laugh. You never knew that surprise he had in store. Everyone in some way has been touched by him always walking away with a smile. Jeff adored his family, they were his angels and he is now an angel gone too soon.

Jeff is the beloved husband of Barbara for 21 years. Proud father of Lea and Logan. Dear son of Charles and the late Pamela and son-in-law of Wanda F. Gongola. Loving brother of Diana (Rob) Keilman, brother-in-law of Frank Gongola and uncle of Chloe and Mason.

Visitation Friday, July 15 from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm Funeral Service at D.S. Temrowski & Sons, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren.
